Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, founded on January 16, 1920, at Howard University, is a historically African American sorority. It was established by five visionary women who aimed to promote the highest standards of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Our sorority is known for being a community-conscious and action-oriented organization, committed to addressing social and community issues. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has achieved several firsts, including being the first National Pan-Hellenic Council organization to charter a chapter in Africa, the first to form auxiliary groups and the first and only sorority to be constitutionally bound to a brother fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. With over 800 chapters worldwide, the sorority continues to impact communities through volunteer services, educational programs, and scholarships. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated remains dedicated to its founding principles, striving for excellence and making a positive difference in society.
