Visiting Scholars Ministry

About

Visiting Scholars Ministry (VSM) is a campus graduate student group that welcomes and serves all international visiting scholars and post-docs. We strive to provide enriching experiences during their stay in America by introducing them to American culture, life, and Christian faith. We also provide resources to help newly arrived visiting scholars to get to know our campus and adjust to the new life in Davis.

Benefits of Joining

• Receive resources for newly arrived visiting scholars, e.g. campus tours and shopping trips to Target, Walmart, International Market, and Ranch 99 to help settle in.
• Practice English conversations & learn American idioms and expressions.
• Form lasting friendships with experienced alumni & former international students.
• Learn about Christianity and the Bible
• Go on outings and getaways to places like San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, etc.
