Vision Dance Troupe

About

Vision Dance Troupe (VDT) is a dance group that spends Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarter choreographing and preparing for our annual Spring Showcase. We feature all sorts of styles of dance like jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and tap. Additionally we participate in outside performances such as RCDC's annual Dance for a Cause & basketball game half time shows. We focus on the joy that dance brings us and our goal is to foster a loving and supportive community.

Benefits of Joining

• perform in our annual Spring Showcase
• learn different styles of dance
• create strong bonds with teammates
• learn/grow in your choreography skills
• gain confidence in your dancing and teaching skills by leading workshops open to the public or other teammates

Events

• practice 2 times a week
• 2-3 social events each quarter
• 2-3 fundraising events each quarter
• perform in RCDC's Dance for a Cause
• perform at basketball game half time shows
• perform at out own annual Spring Showcase
• host/participate in VDT workshops
