Raasleela is UC Davis' official premier competitive Raas-Garba dance team. Founded in 2014, Raasleela incorporates the traditional folk dance styles of Garba and Raas in a lively and energetic fashion. Through our passion for dance, we hope to cultivate an on-campus family, showcase our high energy and uniqueness, as well as entertain and inform the public about this beautiful tradition.

Traveling to competitions nationwide (ex. last year we went to Purdue and UIUC)
Team bonding/retreats
Events for Desi/Indian student community at Davis (ex: Garba Night)
