About

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA), with a half-century history of medical student activism, is the oldest and largest independent association of physicians-in-training, comprised of undergraduates, medical students, and physicians in the United States. The UC Davis Pre-med AMSA is a local chapter of a national organization, the American Medical Students Association (AMSA). We are an undergraduate community comprised of pre-medical and pre-health students interested in pursuing the field of healthcare and applying to professional school. This includes gaining experience and core competencies to become a skilled applicant. Check out our website to learn more about us and become a member: www.davispremedamsa.org.

Benefits of Joining

  • Participate in medical community service hours through AMSA's various outreach programs.
  • Network and build connections with AMSA's medical students and physicians (MD/DO) through exclusive events and activities.
