About
The American Medical Student Association (AMSA), with a half-century history of medical student activism, is the oldest and largest independent association of physicians-in-training, comprised of undergraduates, medical students, and physicians in the United States. The UC Davis Pre-med AMSA is a local chapter of a national organization, the American Medical Students Association (AMSA). We are an undergraduate community comprised of pre-medical and pre-health students interested in pursuing the field of healthcare and applying to professional school. MCAT Jeopardy: An engaging and interactive review session that uses a Jeopardy-style game relevant to the MCAT exam.
Suture Clinic Workshops: Hands-on workshops where members can learn and practice suturing techniques under the guidance of experienced medical professionals.
Med Application Help Workshops: Workshops focused on helping members with the medical school application process.

How to get involved
Joining AMSA at UC Davis is easy, and we welcome new members throughout the school year! There’s no strict commitment required—our goal is to make sure everyone feels welcome and can participate in our organization and events. To become a member, simply fill out the membership form at tinyurl.com/ucdamsa. After completing the form, follow the provided instructions to pay the membership fee to the designated person. As a new member, you can pick up your free AMSA t-shirt at our next in-person event. We look forward to seeing you there and helping you make the most of your pre-med experience!
