The Japanese American Student Society or JASS (est. 1982) is a student organization at the University of California Davis with an eye to service, social and cultural happenings. We deal primarily with the Japanese American community, but that doesn’t mean you have to be Japanese to join; anyone with an interest in Japanese culture and community can join our group!
Weekly Saturday Socials (ex. Dixon Corn Maze, Six Flags, Karaoke, Ice Skating)
Weekend retreat trips (ex. Tahoe)
Weekly General Meetings (club information and games)
Make connections with fellow students interested in Japanese culture and participate in a Big/Little mentor program
Find opportunities to take part in fun group socials, memorable trips, and help the community
Participate in IM sports with your fellow JASSers
We are open to membership for those in the UC Davis community, but primarily serve undergraduate students. We also encourage any exchange students to become members. Follow our Instagram @jassatucd for updates on general meetings, Saturday socials, and more! Join us Thursdays at 7pm for fun activities, slices of Japanese culture, & information about upcoming events.
