Supporting students seeking to learn about robotics and work on projects as a team.
The Davis Robotics Club supports teams of students working to create robots for fun, and for local and national competitions. Members cooperate and gain hands-on experience designing, constructing, and programming a robot. We accept students from all majors, regardless of past experience. Past projects include Autonomous maze solving robots, Sumobots, and an autonomous quadrotor aircraft.
Regular weekly workshops with space for teams to collaborate
Presentations from professionals and peer mentors
Participation in robotics competitions
Easy access to information regarding robotics opportunities in Davis, on campus, and beyond
Connect with and learn from other students and locals interested in robotics
Work on teams to produce robotics projects
Participate in workshops to learn more about engineering, design, programming, and other skills related to robotics.
The best way to start participating is by joining our Discord (see link below), where meetings are announced and channels for specific projects are maintained.
