If you love native plants or are curious to learn more about them, the Davis Rewilding Society is the club for you.
The Davis Rewilding Society is a student-run organization dedicated to improving Davis’s urban ecosystems by planting native flora, increasing awareness of California's biodiversity, and fostering human-to-land connections. Our primary initiative is planting projects, where we install and maintain small plots of native plants on and off UC Davis's campus. These volunteer plantings ecologically enrich Davis's urban landscape while simultaneously offering experiential learning opportunities to students and community members. We also organize field trips and social mixers as well as presentations from club members, professors, and professionals working in the field of ecology and conservation.
