About
Dragon Boat @ UC Davis, AKA Davis Racing Dragons, is a student-run collegiate dragon boat team. We strive to create a welcoming community for both newcomers and seasoned paddlers. There is a place for anyone on the team, no matter your personal goals. Whether you are a diligent, competitive paddler or just want to join to meet new people, we hope you can find what you are looking for on our team!
Typical events & activities
Frequent socials (e.g. corn maze, study sessions, Friendsgiving, White Elephant, EOY formal, etc.)
Weekly dragon boat practices on weekends
Dragon boat races throughout the year
Benefits of joining
Connect with other members to build team bonds and form life-long friendship
Train with other team members on and off the water to become a stronger athlete and train for races
Travel to races, learn about the vast dragon boat community and continue the sport long past your time in college
