About
Davis Anime Club (DAC) is a social club at UC Davis for UC Davis students and faculty focused on creating a strong community among people who enjoy anime and other elements of Japanese culture. DAC has meetings twice a week where the club watches new anime as they are airing overseas, recent favorites, and modern classics. Outside of regular meetings, DAC hosts many social events, such as karaoke, movie nights, and convention meetups. If you are looking for a place to hang out, socialize, or decompress after class and also happen to like anime, then you've come to the right place!
Typical events & activities
Weekend events (e.g. picnics, karaoke, movie nights, SF Japantown trips, seasonal activities)
Large community events (e.g DAnCsgiving, DAC Costume Cafe, DAiCon)
Weekly ‘Before DAC’ meetings for closer-knit socializing and eating around various Davis restaurants

General membership is free and open year-round! Join our Discord, or follow our social media accounts to be notified of our meetings and events throughout the quarter! If you enjoy our club and want to become a bigger part of what we do, consider getting one of our two tiers of membership, DAC Member and DAC Supporter!
