About
The Davis Accounting Society, otherwise known as DAS, is a student-run organization that has historically been very successful in setting students up for long and fulfilling careers in accounting. Students are able to connect with firms and learn a ton about the industry through the many representatives who come to our meetings. We are also well known for having a track record of internships and full-time offers being received, while also having a good time hanging out with one another through our quarterly social events.
Typical events & activities
Recruiting Event (Meet the Firms, career fair with accounting firm representatives)
2-3 quarterly socials (Ice skating, bowling, movies, picnic, game days, volleyball, food runs)
Weekly meetings (Firm speakers and professional workshops)

How to get involved
Every quarter, we invite any and all students to come check us out! We have weekly meetings and 3 socials per quarter, typically all happening on Thursday evenings aside from certain socials. We are looking for active members and there is a very short application that must be completed to join. Check out our Instagram and website, and come to our first meetings of the quarter once we send out the info! Anyone is welcome!
