About

The Ahulu-Bayt Student Association (ABSA) was created as a space for Shi'a Muslim students to have a space to practice their faith openly on campus. We believe through unity and collaborative socials, we can attempt to bridge the gap in the Muslim community and advocate for the representation of minority groups. While ABSA was created as a space for Shi'a Muslims, we are open to all students on campus and encourage you to come with your curiosity.

Benefits of Joining

  • Contribute to a safe space for Shi'a Muslims to embrace our identity
  • Advocate for minority groups through fundraising, advocacy, and social media
  • Form long-lasting friendships and connect with one's identity to celebrate it

Events

  • Collaborative events with other NorCal ABSAs and RSOs
  • Dua Kumayl programs
  • Fundraising events
  • Club socials (board games, movie night, etc)
